The Caldwell Library Dedication
On May 26, 2026, the Heritage Foundation held a warm and celebratory dedication ceremony for the newly established David and Patricia Caldwell Library. The event brought together Heritage staff, donors, alumni, and close friends to honor the generosity of David Caldwell and his late wife Patricia, whose support made the library a reality.
The Spirit of the Evening
The dedication was more than a ribbon-cutting. It was a tribute to Patricia Caldwell, whose memory permeated the room; a celebration of the conservative intellectual tradition and its deep respect for the written word; and a reminder that lasting institutions are built by people who believe, as David Caldwell clearly does, that knowledge surrounds us — if only we take the time to wander the shelves.
